1. Scope
These Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy govern your access to and use of the Stack mobile app (iOS and Android), website at stack.so, and associated tools and services (collectively, the "Services").
The Services do not include third-party platforms linked from Stack. These may include:
Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and conditions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement. The Services are not intended for children.
3. Use of the Services
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use.
Your use must comply with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, the Apple App Store Review Guidelines, and the applicable App Store or Play Store rules.
4. Blockchain Activity
Stack uses blockchain technology. By interacting with the app, you may publish data (e.g., wallet address, transactions) permanently on public blockchains. This data is immutable and not under our control.
You are solely responsible for your wallet and private keys. Losing access to your wallet will permanently affect your access to on-chain content and tokens.
5. Third-Party Services
Stack integrates with third-party platforms and services, including MoonPay, Uniswap, Farcaster, and others. We are not responsible for their actions, availability, or compliance. Their terms and privacy policies apply separately.
6. Account Termination & Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings > Account > Delete Account). This will remove your personal data from Stack's systems. Blockchain-based content cannot be deleted.
7. Acceptable Use
- No illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activity
- No impersonation, harassment, or misuse of other accounts
- No misleading statements about tokens as securities or profit vehicles
- No tampering with the app, reverse engineering, or automated scraping
- No use of Stack if prohibited by applicable law or regulation
8. Payments and In-App Purchases
If you make purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, those transactions are governed by the respective platform's terms and payment policies. Stack does not store or process payment information directly.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights, titles, and interests in the Services, including trademarks, logos, and content, belong to Stack Technologies, Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
You acknowledge the risks associated with blockchain and cryptocurrency use, including technical failures and loss of access.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits, or use. Our total liability is limited to $100 or the amount paid by you for the Services, whichever is lower.
12. Disputes & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
